We’ve been out “interviewing” dozens of women – getting advice straight from those that want to get to know guys like you. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be posting what these girls have had to say.

Do you prefer guys use “pickup lines” to initiate conversation or does “hello” work better?

I don’t like pick up lines, I find them cheesy. As I said before, maybe a nice compliment that required more observation would be nice. The fact that a guy takes the time to notice a detail about you says a lot. It means he’s not just running around hitting on anything with a pulse. He took his time to notice something in particular about you, and that gives the impression that he has a genuine interest.

Charla’s Advice to Wall Flower Guys

If you could give the “wallflower” guys one piece of advice in a nightclub setting, what would it be?

Truly enjoy yourself, no matter what. It’s really nice to see a guy who is having a good time, not worrying if he’s going to score that night or not. Laughter and smiles speak volumes.

Charla’s View of the Dance Floor

Tell us your thoughts & experiences of the dance floor at a night club.

It makes me laugh to see guys who can’t dance and try hard to impress the girls. On the other hand, I’m always glad to see guys who can’t dance but don’t care because they are truly having a good time. The difference between a guy who does it to impress and a guy who does it because he genuinely enjoys it are very obvious, and kudos to the latter ones.

Now, on the grinding. I can’t even begin to explain how much I hate that. I’m pretty sure I even called the club’s security on a grinder once. It’s entirely disrespectful, tasteless and the number one way to get me to dislike you from the start.

What would you consider the BEST thing guys do when approaching a woman.

Doing so in a natural way, maybe with a nice compliment. Extra points if he compliments something that required more attention of him. For example, instead of just complimenting a girl’s eyes (too typical and un-original), maybe compliment the pendant she is wearing on her necklace. There’s usually a story behind the accessories girls wear, and this could be a great conversation-starter which shows a genuine interest in her and her attention to detail.

What do you consider to be the number 1 fashion mistake guys make?

For me, the most common mistake guys make is not paying attention to the way they look. I believe fashion varies, and what suits one may not suit the other, but still it is very easy to pick out the guys who have put some thought into their outfits. They stand out over the ones who just don’t care about their appearance (and generally hygeine as well).

Some pickup lines arent bad, but they always make me laugh which is what i enjoy, so if a guy wants to use one to catch my attention my only advice is to be able to keep up after words and hold a logical converstation. Hello seems too, simple. Gotta have a little extra to show me your confident. But I do enjoy a guy that can initiate a conversation without something as ‘nice shoes, wanna f***?’

What do you think of “peacocking”?

One word, Lame. There are way better ways to ‘stand out’ in a positive way – for instance, being the life of the party, being able to make people laugh, having a contagious smile and a glowing personality.

“Peacocking’ to me sounds like a man crying out for attention and just seems to desperate.

Who doesn’t hate getting jiggy on the dance floor with your girls when all of a sudden you’ve got a random denim cock thrusted at you from behind. There are some guys that can dance, I will admit, but my suggestion to those who can’t- learn to accept it and stopping pretending you can! Get some lessons or stick to what you know!

Theres a good pickup line, for those who cant dance, find a girl whos got some moves and ask her to show you some.
