Jessica’s Fashion Advice…

We’ve been out “interviewing” dozens of women – getting advice straight from those that want to get to know guys like you. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be posting what these girls have had to say.

What would be the number one fashion mistake guys generally make?

The number one? Well there is usually a good number of fashion mistakes made by guys. But I’ll go with wearing clothes that dont fit. Some wear clothes that are way to big, and not at all flattering to their features and just looks grungy. Or some wear clothes that are too small, need I really explain? [extra small t-shirts to try and show off muscles - yuk!]

From my opinion a girl is looking for a well groomed, well dressed man who can find the right style and colour to enhance his physical attributes and grab someones attention.

The number one fashion mistake guys make is that they wear old, faded or frumpy clothing.   Most guys I know wake up, shower and just throw on any piece of clothing just sitting around without thinking of their appearance to others.  Its not like they have to go out and spend tons of money on expensive brand name clothing every month, but it would be appreciated if they put more consideration into their appearance with a new shirt or pant every so often.

Hei Matau

I don’t recommend “extravagant” peacocking attempts, but something stylish and unique can help out your small talk skills dramatically.  Quite often a visible piece of something unique will have people approach you to talk about – of course, if you notice something unique that someone else is wearing, it is a great way to start a conversation.

A seductive conversation or not – remember, it is all about practicing your skills in communications!

Hei Matau

I noticed this little ‘gem’ the other day… hand carved from bone and very reasonably priced.  I’m an avid scuba diver and so these have ‘meaning’ to me and can be great for conversation pieces which could then lead into dive stories.   Get yours over at wandererimports.com
